Paris Saint-Germain came up a bit short in its historic UEFA Champions League run this season, as the team lost to FC Bayern Munich in the final. PSG had its fair share of goal-scoring opportunities in the final but failed to even get on the scoresheet.
This loss was particularly tough on Neymar, who was arguably PSG’s most dominant player in the Champions League this season. In a post via his official Twitter account, Neymar expressed his thoughts following the loss by tweeting: “Losing is part of the sport, we try everything, we fight until the end. Thanks for the support and affection of each one of you and congratulations Bayern.”
Perder faz parte do esporte, tentamos de tudo, lutamos até o final. Obrigado pelo apoio e carinho de cada um de vocês 🙏🏽 e PARABÉNS ao BAYER 👏🏽

Neymar did not score or notch an assist in the final, but he was an annoyance to Bayern’s backline with four dribbles completed and 10 ground duels won. The Brazilian was also fouled six times as Bayern had a tough time containing his on-ball movements.
This season for Neymar and company was certainly a learning experience.
