It was a tough ending for Paris Saint-Germain, as the team came up just short on its UEFA Champions League dreams this past season. But days removed from the final, many of the players are now putting the final behind them and looking ahead to the new campaign.
PSG forward Neymar is certainly looking to make another deep run with PSG. On his official Twitter account, Neymar tweeted: “Congratulations to each player and staff. We did not finish as we wanted and wished but it was incredible to live what we live. Now it’s about recharging your energies, coming back stronger and with the same desire to win. Allez Paris.”

Neymar was arguably the team’s best player over the Champions League knockout stage and one who frustrated defenses time and time again.
The new Champions League season will not kick off until October, but PSG is slated to begin its quest to defend its Ligue 1 title in early September.
