Paris Saint-Germain left-back Layvin Kurzawa returned to collective training with the team on Saturday (via Le Parisien).
Kurzawa had been dealing with a slight right thigh injury that he suffered during the Coupe de la Ligue final win over Olympique Lyonnais. He played in 70 minutes of the contest before being subbed off by manager Thomas Tuchel as a precaution. Kurzawa went on to miss the UEFA Champions League quarterfinal tie against Atalanta with Juan Bernat taking the spot as the starting left-back.
PSG released a medical update earlier this week stating that Kurzawa was taking part in a recovery program to rehab the thigh injury. The program included individual workout sessions in the gym and on the pitch.
Now with Kurzawa back in training, the goal for him is to be fit and ready to go for the semifinal encounter against RB Leipzig. If healthy, Tuchel could start him over Bernat in the tie on Tuesday.
