‘It Would be Nice’ — Kingsley Coman on a Possible PSG and Bayern Munich Champions League Final

FC Bayern Munich is well regarded as the most in-form team in the world today. The reigning Bundesliga champions are coming off of back-to-back impressive Champions League tie wins over Chelsea and Barcelona. Now, the focus for Bayern is on Olympique Lyonnais in the semifinals. But one Bayern talent is already taking a sneak peek at what could be ahead.

Kingsley Coman recently spoke (via RMC Sport) about his team’s performance against Barca, where he also shared brief thoughts regarding a possible Champions League final showdown against his former team.

“We had a great game, a very, very big game,” Coman said. “We are really satisfied, we are all happy. We will enjoy it before refocusing for the semi-final. A PSG-Bayern final? It would be nice.”

Coman is well familiar with PSG. He came up through the team’s youth academy and wound up playing in two seasons at the club. He finished his extremely short tenure at PSG with both four trophies won and four appearances made in all competitions before leaving for Juventus FC.

Coman could eye the possible Champions League encounter against PSG as a fixture to prove to his former side why he made the best decision to leave.
