‘I Think He Will Stay at PSG for at Least Two More Years’ – Neymar’s Advisor on the Brazilian’s Future in Paris

Since Neymar Jr.’s departure from FC Barcelona in 2017, countless reports surfacing from the Spanish media over the 28-year-old returning to the Catalan club.

Last summer was the closest in which the Brazil international could’ve returned, but it never came to fruition. Fast forward to the summer of 2020, and it seems as though Neymar is happy with Paris Saint-Germain.

On the pitch, with the help of the Brazil international, Les Parisiens are experiencing success as they head into club’s first UEFA Champions League final. Off the field, all someone needs to see is Neymar’s social media accounts to see he’s happy with his teammates and surroundings.

Furthermore, Wagner Ribeiro, a Brazilian sports agent, and advisor to Neymar, that what we see on social media and the pitch is pure, not for show in an interview with Veja.

“I meet with him: living in the city of light, where everyone wants to stroll around, enjoying French cuisine, living in a beautiful home, with friends and family close by, playing in one of the best clubs, with everything a person needs and likes,” Ribeiro said. “What reason would he have to leave PSG today?”

As a result, it doesn’t seem that Neymar isn’t going anywhere despite the number of rumors that the Spanish media publishes. Ribero adds that if Neymar and Lionel Messi ever want to play together again, it will have to happen at PSG.

“Neymar is happy, and I think he will stay at PSG for at least two more years,” Ribeiro said. “Today, without a doubt, it is easier for Messi to go to PSG than for Neymar to return to Barcelona. Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. I’m serious. You can’t doubt Qatar’s economic power.”
