Video: Ménez on Mbappé, Leonardo’s Return, and His Favorite Memory With PSG

Last week, Jérémy Ménez gave an interview to talk about the possibility of Paris Saint-Germain winning the UEFA Champions League.

In an interview with Téléfootthe 33-year-old came back to talk about a variety of topics, including his opinion on Kylian Mbappé.

“Frankly, Mbappé impresses me a lot. Even if he has his goals in mind, it shows that he is having fun. It is, above all, a pleasure, a passion, and it is felt. He likes to be in the field, and this is priceless.” Ménez said. “For me, a player like that has no limits. His only limit is him. Then there is destiny. You never know what can happen. I touch wood for him so that he doesn’t have big wounds. But a player like that has to set no limits.”

The conversation would then switch to the current PSG sporting director, Leonardo. Ménez provided his thoughts on the return of the Brazilian returning to Paris and what it means for the club’s future.

“Leonardo’s return? I think it was the best decision. We must not hide it. It was he who made all the first recruits for PSG and who made PSG there today,” Ménez said. “We still know his address book. He knows a lot of people, and he speaks a lot of languages. I think this is the role that suits him best and where he can add something to PSG.”

Finally, the conversation ends with the forward discussing his greatest pride, which was playing for Les Parisiens. Furthermore, Ménez shared his best memory while wearing PSG’s colors.

“My greatest pride? To have won titles with the club of my dreams, PSG. For a young suburban youth who manages to sign at PSG and who wins titles, it’s still a source of pride. It’s beautiful,” Ménez said. “The best memory of his career? It is true that there were many highlights but the goal at Gerland (in 2013), which allows us to win the title of champion of France.”
