Florian Ayé suits up for Brescia Calcio in Serie A but was born in Paris. As a result, he’s the perfect person to ask breakdown the UEFA Champions League quarterfinal matchup between Atalanta BC and Paris Saint-Germain.
The 23-year-old was a guest on After Foot on RMC Sport, where he had some positive words for both squads. Beginning with Atalanta, Ayé said that despite not leading Serie A, they’re the strongest squad in Italy.
However, despite making that claim, he still sees PSG as the favorite.
“I see the favorite PSG despite the high level of Atalanta. Afterward, the question that everyone is asking is the physical form with which PSG will start this final phase of the Champions League,” Ayé said. “It should not be forgotten that Atalanta can get tired after a lot of league games quickly.”
