While Paris Saint-Germain was taking on AS Saint-Étienne in the Coupe de France final, their UEFA Champions League quarterfinals opponent was also in action.
Atalanta BC played AC Milan to a 1-1 draw on the road. However, news of Kylian Mbappé’s injury made its way to Italy. As a result, Atalanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini gave his quick thoughts after his match against Milan, which was relayed by L’Equipe.
“I didn’t know. I am sorry. He’s a very great player, I hope it’s nothing serious,” said Gasperini.
Mbappé will have roughly two weeks and a half to try to heal from his ankle injury. If not, then the offensive responsibilities will fall on the shoulders of Neymar Jr.
