It’s that time of the year again where Paris Saint-Germain supporters remember that Jesé Rodriguez is still part of the club. After having his loan stint with Sporting Lisbon cut short, the 27-year-old is under contract for one more season with Les Parisiens.
According to Le Parisien, despite being under contract, the Spain international has yet to report to Paris with the rest of his teammates to train ahead of the conclusion of the 2019-20 season. It’s become clear that Leonardo, PSG’s sporting director, will once again have to figure out a loan situation for Jesé.
Since being signed in 2016 from Real Madrid, Jesé has gone out on loan on four different occasions. He’s never really found a home at any of those clubs and he’s becoming a headache for the Ligue 1 champions.
Once the upcoming season is over, PSG will be free from one of their worst transfers in the Qatar Sports Investment era. Here’s hoping Leonardo shares some of Jesé’s workout videos to convince a club to take him off their hands this summer.
