Paris Saint-Germain continues to show interest in acquiring a center-back with Thiago Silva leaving the club next month. The side now hopes to replace its captain with one of the most sought-after defenders in Serie A.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport’s Nicolo Schira, PSG is among the teams vying for Inter Milan defender Milan Škriniar. Inter Milan had previously decided that Skriniar was not for sale but have now reversed its decision. The club is seeking an offer of €60 million in the hope of racking up enough funds to satisfy manager Antonio Conte’s request for the upcoming transfer market.
#Inter no longer consider #Skriniar as not for sale & should a €60M bid arrive the #Nerazzurri are open to selling him when the transfer window opens & would use those funds to satisfy #Conte’s requests on the transfer market. #ManCity & #PSG have already enquired about him

PSG is not the only team interested. Manchester City and Manchester United are among the early teams to show a reported interest in the Italian defender as well.
Skriniar is on a contract set to expire in 2023 and he has long been one of Inter’s most reliable defenders. The 25-year-old is slated to record his fourth straight season with at least 30 starts made. In league play this season, he has posted formidable rates of 0.84 interceptions per 90 and 2.78 successful pressures per 90.
The €60 million transfer price may be higher than what Leonardo, PSG’s sporting director, is looking to pay for at the moment. But if the club is in desperate need to find backline depth with Silva soon departing, Skriniar should be among the top candidates.
