PSG manager Thomas Tuchel has elected to go with the team’s mainstay 4-4-2 setup for this match. Kylian Mbappe and Mauro Icardi will lead the side upfront as the two main strikers. Look for how much of an influence Icardi will have in the team’s build-up of play into the final third.
Neymar and Angel Di Maria slot into the side as the two wingers out wide. Both should provide much-needed width, but neither will hover over the flanks for the entirety of the matchup.
Leandro Paredes and Ander Herrera also make the team as the double-pivot for the 4-4-2 formation. As usual, look for both to be the link between the backline and the attacking players, especially in quick transition sequences.
As expected, Presnel Kimpembe and Marquinhos are in the backline as the team’s center-back duo. Thilo Kehrer is out wide as the right-back while Mitchel Bakker is in at left-back. For both full-backs, this fixture will provide them with valuable playing time to prove their worth to the coaching staff.
Overall, look for PSG to get into a good rhythm early on. There should be plenty of goal-scoring chances for the team to pounce on.
For the Ligue 2 side Le Havre, this will be its first fixture since early March. It will be a grand test for many of its youth talents against a focused PSG squad.
