The moment all Paris Saint-Germain supporters have been eagerly awaiting is finally here. The players are all back in the French capital and ready to begin training to prepare for the end of the 2019-20 season.
According to PSG’s official website, the players will undergo medical and physical tests in the first half of the week. On Thursday, they will head out onto the pitch in small groups to begin working on their fitness and rhythm.
The last time PSG played a competitive match was on March 11, against Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League, so the buildup in training is expected to be a slow one to avoid any muscle injuries.
PSG will likely play several friendlies in early July, as reported by L’Equipe, and then take on AS Saint-Étienne in the Coupe de France final on July 24, and Olympique Lyonnais in the Coupe de la Ligue final on July 31.
Before we can focus on those matches, let’s just appreciate the fact that the players are back at the training facilities. Below, we have curated some of the best photos of their arrival this morning.
