Report: PSG Transfer Target Favoring Move to Bayern Munich

Paris Saint-Germain sporting director, Leonardo, had the full-back position as one that he would like to strengthen over the summer months.

Right-back Sergiño Dest of AFC Ajax is a name that the Brazilian is monitoring closely, but it seems as though Les Parisiens will once again lose out to FC Bayern Munich.

According to Sky Sport Germany, Dest favors a move to the Bavarian club despite the interest from PSG and FC Barcelona. With the number of American footballers receiving regular minutes in the Bundesliga, the news comes as no surprise.

Furthermore, Bayern Munich has hit a home run with their development of their current left-back, Alphonso Davies, so it’s a selling point that the German club is pitching to Dest, and it appears to have worked.

Ajax’s asking price for the United States international is reported to be around €25 million, so unless there are any last-minute changes from Dest or his entourage, he’s likely heading to Bayern Munich next season.
