Report: PSG Monitoring Fiorentina Defender as Replacement for Silva

Paris Saint-Germain will be a bit thin at central defense as Thiago Silva and Tanguy Kouassi are departing over the summer.

As a result, the capital club’s sporting director, Leonardo, is trying to add another center-back to go with the trio of Abdou Diallo, Presnel Kimpembe, and Marquinhos.

With a potential interest in FC Bayern Munich’s David Alaba, Les Parisiens could look to the Austria international to fill their defensive needs. Still, knowing Leonardo, he will head to a familiar country and league first, Italy and Serie A.

According to Foot Mercato, one name to keep on eye on is AFC Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenković. Furthermore, the French website reports that talks have begun talks with his representative, Fali Ramadani.

Milenković has a value of €24 million per Transfermarkt and is under contract until 2022, so now is the time in which Fiorentina could either extend the Serbia international or perhaps cash-in on him if they cannot agree on a new deal.
