It may not have quite the same prestige as the Ballon d’Or but being on the cover of the popular FIFA video game is pretty darn close.
After previous reports about Neymar Jr. being the likely candidate to feature on the upcoming FIFA 21 edition after missing out last season due to legal issues, Culture PSG reports that EA Sports will make his Paris Saint-Germain teammate, Kylian Mbappé, their cover model.
Mbappé is the first PSG player to feature on the cover of the FIFA video game since Guillaume Hoarau on FIFA 10…I bet you didn’t see that coming.

FIFA 21 will be especially noteworthy because of it will be the first edition to be available on the next-gen consoles PlayStation5 and Xbox Series X.
According to EA.com, FIFA 21 is expected to be released on October 6, 2020, hopefully, we’ll have actual football back by then as well.
