When Ligue 1 competition returns in late August for the start of the 2020-21 season, it will look a lot different than the previous few seasons.
Aside from new players across the league and even a new logo for Stade de Reims, Ligue 1 will have a new presenting sponsor, Uber Eats, as well as a new ball from Uhlsport.

The Elysia ball has a futuristic look to it to match the new logo of Ligue 1. The French top-flight is the only league amongst the top five in Europe that use an Uhlsport ball and in my opinion, it’s one of the more attractive ones.
I’m sure we’ll hear more about the technology that went into the design but for now, we can only judge it on appearance.
We’ll get to see the ball in action starting on August 23, when the 2020-21 season kicks off. PSG will hopefully be competing in the UEFA Champions League final that day so their Ligue 1 title defense will have to start a few days later at least.
