After months of confinement in Brazil—and then a quick stop in St. Tropez—Neymar is back in Paris and should be with the club once Paris Saint-Germain resumes training on June 22.
The goal for the players will be to prepare as best they can for the Coupe de France final and Coupe de la Ligue final at the end of July and then the UEFA Champions League, which resumes on August 7, with the completion of the Round of 16.
For Neymar though, there’s only one competition that he has eyes for and that’s the Champions League.
The Brazil international has won the title once before (with FC Barcelona during the 2014-15 season) but a championship with PSG would restore his legacy and confirm that leaving Barcelona was the right decision in 2017.
On Twitter, Neymar responded to the news from UEFA that the Champions League will continue in a new format.
I can’t wait anymore u my love ⚽️❤️ champions league is back 🤪✌🏽 pic.twitter.com/dIDJ4qCh6U

A healthy and motivated Neymar should scare any team that PSG goes up against in the quarter-finals and beyond.
