Marquinhos and his family left their home in Paris on May 19, and traveled to their home country of Brazil during the coronavirus pandemic.
He was the last Brazilian to make the decision to leave France as Neymar Jr. and Thiago Silva made the call weeks earlier.
According to journalist Loïc Tanzi, Marquinhos arrived back in Paris with his wife and two kids on Wednesday morning. He’s the first South American player to return and Keylor Navas (Costa Rica) remains abroad as well.

The decision to come back now will allow Marquinhos to quarantine for 14 days to make sure he doesn’t have the coronavirus. This will allow him to be ready to go once training resumes reportedly on June 22.
It should also be noted that while Marquinhos is back and going above and beyond to make sure he’s ready to train, PSG’s current captain is still in Brazil. If Silva leaves at the end of the season when his contract expires, there’s no question that Marquinhos will wear the captain’s armband for the 2020-21 season and hopefully many seasons to come.
