Kylian Mbappé is one of the most competitive footballers on the planet and you know this long layoff has been eating at him.
With training set to resume on June 22, Mbappé shared a photo on social media on Wednesday showing him in a cryotherapy chamber and pointing to a digital screen that read “-146.”

I’m not an expert in cryotherapy but -146 of any unit of measure has to be painfully cold but Mbappé appears to be calm and cool (pun intended) in the photo.
After a quick Google search, I learned that cryotherapy has a number of health benefits for athletes, including helping the body recover faster after training. Think of it as a really fancy (and much colder) ice bath.
This is just another example of how serious Mbappé takes his craft and I fully expect the Frenchman to be at his best when PSG participates in the Coupe de France and Coupe de la Ligue finals in late July and then the UEFA Champions League in August.
