‘He’s Too Fast’ – PSG Defender Names Bayern Munich Winger as the Hardest Player to Defend Against

Colin Dagba is considered to be a fleet-footed defender but even he has trouble keeping up with FC Bayern Munich and former Paris Saint-Germain youth academy graduate Kingsley Coman.

During a “Quick Fire” video series posted on PSG’s official YouTube channel, Dagba answered a number of questions including the best goal he’s ever seen, who his idol is, and who the hardest player to defend against is.

“I often get this one,” Dagba said. “I always answer the same thing: Kingsley Coman. He’s too fast. Often, he stops, and then he starts up again. That’s the worst! From a standing start, he’s too fast.”

Coman is indeed a special talent with speed to spare. Whenever you talk about PSG prodigies who weren’t retained by the club, the conversation inevitably starts with Coman.

Dagba is one of those youth players that decided to stick around at PSG and heading into the 2019-20 season, it was thought that he could compete with Thomas Meunier for the starting right-back role.

Unfortunately, a knee injury in late January ended Dagba’s season but at 21-years-old, there’s plenty of time for him to make a name for himself at the capital club.
