Prior to the start of the 2019-20 season, Colin Dagba was expected to challenge Thomas Meunier for the starting right-back role. He signed a contract extension that would keep him in the French capital until 2024 but unfortunately, that was the highlight of his season as things went downhill after that.
Due to multiple injuries, Dagba only made 15 appearances this season and recorded one assist. His knee injury against Pau FC last January in the Coupe de France ultimately ended his campaign but with the UEFA Champions League now pushed until August most likely, we could see the young Frenchman in PSG colors once again.
On social media, Dagba updated PSG fans with a video showing his training regimen during the coronavirus pandemic in Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France. From what I can see, the 21-year-old isn’t showing any signs of lingering issues stemming from the knee injury.

Signing a right-back this summer is a priority for PSG with Meunier set to leave the club at the end of his contract on June 30, but it appears Dagba is ready to fight for his place in the team.
