Video: New Documentary Highlights PSG’s Talented Under-19 Squad

A new documentary featuring some of Paris Saint-Germain’s brightest young talents was just released and is available to view on YouTube.

“Le Jardin” was directed by Hugo Bembi and Jesse Adang and chronicles Adil Aouchiche, Tanguy Kouassi, Garissone Innocent, Timothée Pembélé, Arnaud Kalimuendo, and other PSG Under-19 players during the 2018-19 season as they train in Paris and learn how to become a professional footballer.

The description for “Le Jardin” reads:

“For every professional player who walks the stadium turf, there are years of training punctuated by effort but also doubts and sacrifices. In the shadow of their elders, thousands of young players aspire to make their places in an ultra-competitive universe. A path in which selection is more ruthless than elsewhere.”

The documentary is a precursor to what PSG fans can expect in the coming months. Earlier this year, we learned that Netflix is shooting a documentary on Neymar Jr. and Amazon Prime Video is preparing a documentary as well for PSG’s 50th anniversary season.
