Report: Trio That Includes Laure Boulleau to Take Over PSG Féminine Sporting Director Role

A couple of days ago, Bruno Cheyrou decided to leave his position as the sporting director of Paris Saint-Germain Féminine squad. He reportedly is heading over to Olympique Lyonnais to become their head of scouting.

PSG sporting director Leonardo is beginning his search this summer as to who will take over Cheyrou’s position. According to RMC Sport, the Brazilian might fill this role using a trio of people.

The French media outlet is reporting that the three names Leonardo is looking at to take over the sporting director role of the Féminine squad are Laure Boulleau, Gregory Durand, and Angelo Castellazzi.

“Gregory Durand, legal manager of the club, would gain a little more weight. For several transfer windows already, the Frenchman had started to manage certain files, notably within the training center,” RMC Sport states. “The idea would be to use the administrative skills of Gregory Durand, with the network of the former player of the club, Laure Boulleau, a consultant for Canal Plus. For a time anticipated at the head of the women’s section, Sabrina Delannoy should stay at the PSG Foundation.”

It seems as though Leonardo wants one person to specialize in one area of the position and not have someone wear multiple hats as they juggle the job.

Contract extensions for the significant players on the squad are in the books, and now this trio will have to look at reinforcements this summer as they continue to compete with Lyon for dominance in women’s football.
