Report: Qatar Rules Out Mbappé Leaving This Summer For Real Madrid

Kylian Mbappé will play a fourth season for Paris Saint-Germain as the Qatari owners of the club have refused to entertain any offers for the 21-year-old superstar.

According to L’Equipe, those at the top of the PSG food chain are firm in their decision that Mbappé will not be allowed to leave this summer, which should be music to the ears of Leonardo, PSG’s sporting director, who has other transfers and contracts to focus on.

Real Madrid has long been rumored to be the frontrunner to land Mbappé if he leaves the French capital and will be keeping an eye on the situation. Their plan is to sign the FIFA World Cup winner during the summer of 2021 when Mbappé has one year left on his current contract.

If Leonardo and PSG’s hierarchy can convince Mbappé to sign an extension, we may actually get a few more drama-free transfer windows. Wouldn’t that be nice?
