Report: PSG Ready to Offer Roma Midfielder €4 Million Per Season

Now that it appears Paris Saint-Germain has two of their targets potentially locked up in Mauro Icardi and Alex Telles, club sporting director, Leonardo is switching his focus to the midfield, primarily on AS Roma’s Lorenzo Pellegrini.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via ParisFans), Les Parisiens remains at the forefront in trying to lure the 23-year-old to Paris.

Furthermore, with the Italian club in financial need, it could result in Pellegrini leaving, and at 6′ 2″, the midfielder is the size that Leonardo is looking to add with the lack of height in the midfield.

With PSG looking to zero in on the Italian midfielder, they’re reportedly looking to offer him a yearly salary of €4 million.

Although Pellegrini has gone on record that he would like to remain in Rome, that type of wage could be too enticing to pass on.

Since Tiémoué Bakayoko is too expensive for PSG, expect plenty of reports surrounding Pellegrini in the coming weeks.
