Report: Potential Cities That Could Host the Coupe de France Final

After a war of words through the media between French Football Federation president Noël Le Graët and Chairman of the Management Board for AS Saint-Étienne Roland Romeyer, the Coupe de France final between Paris Saint-Germain and AS Saint-Étienne will take place.

With both teams in agreement about playing the cup final without fans, finding a date and location is the next step. Le Graët has mentioned the match occurring in August, but no information on a potential host city.

Nonetheless, it seems as though the FFF might have a few locations in mind for the Coupe de France. According to Le Quotidien du Foot, the possible desitions to serve as a host city are Toulouse, Caen, or Châteauroux.

After speculation as to whether or not the final should occur in France or head abroad, the federation is choosing to keep it in the country. Furthermore, it doesn’t seem that these three cities are profoundly affected by the Coronavirus as major cities like Paris are, so it makes sense that these are the prime location sites.
