Thiago Silva’s contract runs out at the end of the 2019-20 season, and there’s plenty of opinions as to what Paris Saint-Germain should do with their current captain.
Former Les Parisien captain, Eric Rabésandratana, has said that it would that “letting [Silva] go would be dramatic.” Both clubs are reportedly looking to hammer out a deal together.
Nonetheless, with the 35-year-old reportedly unwillingly to lower his wages due to the coronavirus, it seems unlikely that Silva will want to reduce his salary in an extension. As a result, the Brazil international is keeping his options open.
Rumors seeing O Monstro return to his former club, AC Milan, are circulating the media; however, there’s a new club possibly looking to keep the PSG captain around in Europe, Everton FC.
According to sports journalist Nicolò Schira, former PSG manager and current Everton FC boss, Carlo Ancelotti, is looking to bring Silva to Goodison Park.
The new #Everton could speak brazilian: the first choices as central-defender and midfielder remains #GabrielMagalhães (Lille) and #Allan (Napoli). Meanwhile #Ancelotti is looking for #ThiagoSilva: if he doesn't extend his contract with #PSG, #Toffees will make an attempt… #EFC

The English club is looking to bring in some Brazilian flare this summer with Silva (if he doesn’t extend his contract), Allan of Napoli (whose long been linked to PSG), and Gabriel Magalhães of Lille OSC.
