Sadly, the 2019-20 Ligue 1 season is over far too soon due to the coronavirus crisis.
Facing several months before the UEFA Champions League potentially resumes, I’ve decided to look back at what was an eventful campaign that saw Paris Saint-Germain crowned champions.
I’ve already graded the players on their performances but now it’s time to announce PSG’s 10 best goals from the season.
Remember, these are goals from Ligue 1 competition only, so you won’t see any goals from the Champions League or the domestic cup competitions.
8. Kouassi Header vs. Amiens SC
At 17-years-old, Tanguy Kouassi is one of the most promising young players in the PSG ranks. The French defender managed to find a few minutes with the first team this season where he performed well beyond his years. However, his first two Ligue 1 goals came in a thrilling match against Amiens SC that ended 4-4. PSG quickly found themselves down 3-1 at halftime and Kouassi’s brace shortly after the break brought Les Parisiens back to life. While both goals were important, the goal coming in eighth in this ranking is his first in the 60th minute.
