Sadly, the 2019-20 Ligue 1 season is over far too soon due to the coronavirus crisis.
Facing several months before the UEFA Champions League potentially resumes, I’ve decided to look back at what was an eventful campaign that saw Paris Saint-Germain crowned champions.
I’ve already graded the players on their performances but now it’s time to announce PSG’s 10 best goals from the season.
Remember, these are goals from Ligue 1 competition only, so you won’t see any goals from the Champions League or the domestic cup competitions.
10. Mbappé’s Fiery Finish Against Saint-Étienne
PSG defeated AS Saint-Étienne 4-0 on December 15, and it was Kylian Mbappé’s late strike that caught my eye. With ASSE supporters ablaze in the stands, the Frenchman used his speed and precision finishing to score in the 89th minute. Mbappé’s goal celebration turned out to be one of the indelible images of the season.
