Leonardo, PSG’s sporting director, has prioritized right-back this offseason and it appears as though he’s found the solution.
Lazio’s Adam Marusic was linked with a move to PSG last March and according to La Repubblica (via Culture PSG), the transfer seems to be heating up.
The report reveals that the Montenegro international is a priority for PSG and the Ligue 1 champions are preparing to submit an offer of €15 million, plus a bonus.
Marusic is under contract with Lazio until 2022, so the Serie A club is in no rush to ship off one of their best players. In fact, the report claims Lazio would prefer to receive upwards of €25 million for Marusic.
One interesting footnote to the reporting out of Italy mentioned the name of Sergej Milinković-Savić. Despite all indications that the star midfielder signed an extension with Lazio, PSG hasn’t given up hope of bringing the Serbia international to the Parc des Princes.
