PSG Goalkeeper Crashes €200K Lamborghini in Poland

I have a rule when it comes to goalkeepers. If you can’t drive a luxury sports car, you probably can’t play the position.

All joking aside, what happened to Marcin Bulka on Wednesday is a very serious matter.

According to reports out of Poland (SoFoot.com), Paris Saint-Germain’s backup goalkeeper crashed a yellow Lamborghini near his hometown of Wyszogród, Poland, Wednesday night. Bulka is one of the PSG players who has returned to his home country during the coronavirus pandemic.

The incident occurred when Bulka attempted an overtaking maneuver and hit a Hyundai carrying a driver and a passenger head-on.

Alcohol isn’t expected to be involved and Bulka did escape with no injures. The people in the Hyundai were transported to the hospital.

The vehicle, estimated to be worth around €224,000, doesn’t belong to Bulka and was a rental. However, the condition of the car is inconsequential. Hopefully, Bulka didn’t seriously injure anyone in the other car.

This isn’t good news for Bulka who has one year left on his deal at PSG. He only played in one game for the Ligue 1 champions this season following his arrival from Chelsea FC last summer. So far, PSG fans know Bulka more for his comments about Angel Di Maria hating Manchester United and now this. The club may decide he’s more trouble than he’s worth when the summer transfer window opens up.
