If there’s one transfer rumor that I’m tired of reading about, it’s the one involving AC Milan’s Lucas Paquetá and Paris Saint-Germain.
PSG have started talks with AC Milan for Lucas Paquetà. Leonardo wants him again. Talks ongoing. 🇧🇷 @DiMarzio #transfers #PSG #ACMilan

Essentially, the 22-year-old midfielder is constantly linked with a move to the Parc des Princes because of his relationship with PSG’s sporting director, Leonardo, who recruited him from Flamengo in January of 2019 when he held the same position with the Rossoneri.
Paquetá hasn’t exactly lit the world on fire since joining Milan (one assist in 19 appearances this season) and there’s been a steady stream of speculation that he would be open to a move to PSG where he would reunite with Leonardo and the other Brazilians within the squad.
However, during a recent Instagram takeover where Paquetá answered questions from fans via Milan’s official account, Paquetá made it clear that he is happy where he is (via Sempre Milan).
What Milan means to Paquetá: “I feel at home here. I hope to always be very happy here and for this reason, I will always give my best to win with this historic team.”
What Paquetá likes about Italy and what he misses from Brazil: “I like being part of Milan, I like the food and the beauty of the Italian language. As for what I miss from Brazil, I say family and friends.”
If Paquetá is happy to play in Italy: “I’m happy and I hope to be more and more on the field, making my qualities available to the team to help them win.”
Obviously, Paquetá isn’t going to say he hates living in Italy and wants a transfer on the official Milan account, so I’m sure we’ll have to suffer through more speculation about a player that I’m not convinced would be better than what PSG already has in Leandro Paredes and Ander Herrera.
