By all statistical analysis, Keylor Navas has had an outstanding debut season with Paris Saint-Germain.
The Costa Rica international arrived from Real Madrid last summer after winning three consecutive UEFA Champions League titles. If the competition resumes later this year, Navas has an opportunity to add a fourth as PSG reached the quarter-finals right before the coronavirus pandemic forced football to shut down.
During a recent Instagram live broadcast (via AS), Navas answered questions from some of his followers. When asked about the most important title that he’s won in his career, the 33-year-old unsurprisingly picked those Champions League titles with Real Madrid.
“They are all lovely, but the three Champions Leagues are special.”
When asked to describe how winning those titles felt, Navas provided a comical answer.
“There are not enough emojis to describe it.”
Navas recently won his first Ligue 1 title after the season was canceled due to the coronavirus. It was PSG’s ninth title in club history. I think I’ll go with these emojis to describe how I feel about that: 🏆🙌
