Once the 2019-20 season concludes, Marcin Bulka will only have one year left on his contract, so both his camp and Paris Saint-Germain will have to get together and discuss a contract extension.
Recently, the 20-year-old’s agent, Yvan Le Mée, appeared on an Instagram Live to speak with Telefoot journalist Julien Maynard. Le Mée made it clear that his client is looking for a significant increase in playing time since he’s only made one appearance this season.
The Poland international echoed the sentiments of his agent after speaking with TVP Sport (via Culture PSG). Bulka made it clear what wants going forward by stating, “I want to play.”
Furthermore, the 20-year-old went into detail with how contract talks are going with Les Parisiens.
“I am currently in discussions with the club for the extension of my contract. We are in touch,” Bulka said. “Unfortunately, for the moment, we cannot meet face to face but we are in discussion and a decision will be made in the coming weeks. I know I want to play and that’s definitely what I’m going to do.”
Bulka might come across as arrogant or spoiled in the way he wants the situation to play out, but with PSG needing a backup goalkeeper, it’s a role that he could fill.
