It’s been a while since we’ve seen any football due to the coronavirus and the players are starting to get a little stir crazy just like the rest of us.
While Neymar Jr. is serenading us with his piano skills, Paris Saint-Germain’s other superstar, Kylian Mbappé, showcased another type of skill on his Instagram account.
With a balled-up piece of garbage in his hands, the Frenchman readies himself for a long-distance shot into the trashcan. His family, including his brother Ethan Mbappé, look on and chant “MVP” as the 21-year-old launches his shot across the kitchen.
After sinking the shot, Mbappé mimicks LeBron James’ signature celebration by stomping his feet and pounding his chest.
It shouldn’t be a surprise that Mbappé copied James’ celebration. He is a basketball fan, after all, and the two Nike athletes are very supportive of each other. If the NBA season is able to resume, maybe we’ll see James copy Mbappé’s signature celebration after a breakaway dunk.
