PSG Interested in €35M-Rated Manchester United Defender

Right-back is a position that Paris Saint-Germain would like to strengthen over the summer transfer window.

Les Parisians have reportedly shown interest in Achraf Hakimi, who will return to Real Madrid after his loan stint with Borussia Dortmund, so his transfer price might be a bit expensive as Los Blancos could play hardball in negotiations.

Another name that PSG would like to bring to Paris is Adam Marušić. However, Lazio has set a €20 million transfer price on the Montenegro international.

For a player whose value sits at €5 million per Transfermarkt, the money that the Italian club wants might be too much, and the capital club could acquire a better player for that price.

With Hakimi being too expensive and Marušić not worth the price tag, PSG is now looking at Manchester United FC right-back Diogo Dalot according to O Jogo (via Foot Mercato). In his first two seasons with the Red Devils, the 21-year-old has only made 33 appearances.

Despite the limited playing time, Dalot has a transfer value of €18 million per Transfermarkt, but would likely command upwards of €35 million according to the report out of Portugal. PSG could come in with a reasonable bid somewhere in the middle and offer the Portugal international more playing time with there being no clear-cut option at the position for PSG right now.
