PSG and Everton Chase €45M-Rated Midfielder Who Wants Out of Napoli

A complete overhaul during the upcoming transfer window isn’t necessary but Paris Saint-Germain is expected to add some quality to key areas of the squad.

The midfield will almost certainly get an upgrade and one transfer target that has been linked with the club in the past could be available.

According to Calcomercato.com, Napoli midfielder Allan will leave the club at the end of the season citing a deteriorating relationship with the manager and several other incidents throughout the season.

The report also revealed that Allan was offered to Juventus FC for around €40-€45 million but the Turin-based club passed on the deal as they already have a plethora of midfielders.

With Juventus unlikely to return for Allan this summer, the player’s former manager at Napoli, Carlo Ancelotti, could convince the Brazilian to join him at Everton FC to play in the Premier League. Or, Paris Saint-Germain could make a bid for likely much lower than what Allan would have cost last summer.

We know that Leonardo, PSG’s sporting director, likes to find bargains in Serie A and the opportunity to sign a bulldog midfielder like Allan for less than €40 million might be too good to pass up.
