Neymar Jr.’s mom, Nadine Goncalves, lit up social media this weekend when she posted a photo on Instagram of her embracing a much younger man with a caption that read, “The inexplicable cannot be explained, you live it…❤️”
According to the New York Post, the man in the photograph is gamer and model Tiago Ramos who, at 22-years-old, is six years younger than Neymar.
The age gap doesn’t appear to be an issue for Neymar who commented on the photo, “Be happy mom ❤️ love you.” Of course, if Goncalves and Ramos eventually marry, that would mean Neymar would have a younger step-father.
Slightly more odd is the fact that Neymar’s father also approves of the relationship as he commented with several clapping and praying hands emojis. Neymar Sr. and Goncalves divorced in 2016 after being married for 25 years.
In the report from the New York Post, they revealed that Ramos is a super fan of Neymar and even sent him a message in 2017 that read:
“Neymar you are fantastic, I don’t know how to explain the emotion of being a fan of a guy like you, I see you playing and I’m very motivated, one day I hope to read this message with you, be your brother, and play together.”
“I know that one day I will meet you, because I am a dreamy boy where I do not give up on my goals! Stay with God, very successful and happy.”
Ramos somehow found his way into Neymar’s life, not only appearing with him at the Parc des Princes but also getting an invite to his birthday party. Now, he’s dating Neymar’s mother.
Talk about hard work and determination paying off. Congratulations to the happy couple.
