Lazio Puts a €20M Price Tag on PSG Transfer Target

Paris Saint-Germain will be in the market to add to their full-back depth during the upcoming transfer window with both Layvin Kurzawa and Thomas Meunier likely departing at the end of the season.

Recent reports claim that the capital club are on the verge of obtaining Alex Telles from FC Porto. With a left-back potentially in their grasp, PSG will be looking to add to the right side of the defense.

Last month, PSG’s interest in Lazio’s Adam Marušić came to the forefront. With club sporting director, Leonardo, having a history of preferring players from Italy, it came as no surprise that he favored a player from one of Serie A’s best clubs this season.

With potential interest from Les Parisians, Lazio has set their price for the 27-year-old. According to Gazzetta dello Sport (via Foot Mercato), the Italian club has put a €20 million price tag on the Montenegro international.

Although PSG will want to deploy Marušić as a right-back, he hasn’t played that position at all for Lazio this season. The 27-year-old has made 10 total appearances as a right-midfielder for I Biancocelesti while missing 12 matches due to injuries.

The report also states that Marušić isn’t PSG’s first choice because they’re not sure if the Montenegro international will leave Lazio, who are currently in a UEFA Champions League position.

Nonetheless, PSG will continue to monitor the situation and look elsewhere to add depth to their right-back position.
