Over the weekend, Zero Hora (via A Bola) reported that Paris Saint-Germain was close to agreeing on a €25 million deal with FC Porto for left-back Alex Telles.
Both FC Barcelona and Chelsea FC were linked with Telles in the past but its the Ligue 1 giants who appear to be the ones who will land the Brazilian defender.
News of missing out on Telles hit Chelsea fans especially hard and they took to Twitter to vent.
Not only are they frustrated that their club could miss out on signing a fantastic player for a surprisingly reasonable transfer fee, but they’re worried they’ll have to settle for Leicester City FC’s Ben Chilwell who will cost considerably more.
