Thomas Meunier is a Paris Saint-Germain player for now but that may all change after the end of the season when his contract with the club expires.
According to ESPN, the 28-year-old defender has agreed to join Borussia Dortmund this summer on a free transfer. Meunier will reportedly sign a four-year deal worth €50 million, which also includes a signing bonus.
With his time in Paris coming to an end in the coming months, Meunier should take in the sites around the French capital as much as possible before making the move to Dortmund.
On a recent episode of “This is Paris,” Meunier, who joined PSG in 2016 from Club Brugge, spoke about his life in Paris and what he and his family enjoy doing around the city.
With Meunier’s departure, PSG will have to be active in the summer transfer market to find a world-class right-back. Colin Dagba is still recovering from a knee injury and Thilo Kehrer is more of a natural center-back who has had to fill in at right-back recently. It’s not an ideal situation and it’s one I expect the club to address before next season.
