Video: Neymar Has Ice Water in His Veins As He Scores Penalty Against Lyon

You could make the argument that Neymar Jr. is the best penalty-taker in world football.

In the second half against Olympique Lyonnais, the Paris Saint-Germain superstar scored a methodical penalty that gave his side a 2-1 lead in the semi-final of the Coupe de France.

The penalty was set up by Kylian Mbappé who played a tantalizing cross into the box for Edinson Cavani. El Matador played the ball off his knee and it hit Lyon’s Fernando Marçal on the arm. Spotted by the referee, PSG received the penalty and Marçal was given his second yellow and given his marching orders.

Neymar stepped up for the penalty and after a few stutter-steps, he calmly scored past Anthony Lopes.

The match against Lyon was actually Neymar’s debut in the tournament this season and his goal could be the difference to send Les Parisiens to the finals.
