What more can you say about Kylian Mbappé that hasn’t already been said?
Against Olympique Lyonnais, the Paris Saint-Germain superstar showed why he is considered one of the top footballers on the planet with a brilliant goal (his second off the night) that should no doubt be considered one of the best of the season.
In the 70th minute, with PSG up 2-1, the Frenchman simply decided to put the game out of reach and took on the entire Lyon defense with a blistering run.
Mbappé dribbled from the halfway line, faked a shot on the edge of Anthony Lopes’ box to make a Lyon defender look silly, and then blasted a shot past the keeper with his right foot. It was a goal that showed every aspect of Mbappé’s ability and what makes him so special.
With the win, PSG reaches the Coupe de France final for the sixth consecutive season and more importantly, Mbappé is in outstanding form leading up to the UEFA Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund next week.
