I may have had some questions regarding Thomas Tuchel’s starting lineup for Paris Saint-Germain’s semi-final clash against Olympique Lyonnais but we can all agree that starting Kylian Mbappé is always a good choice.
After Lyon scored in the 11th minute, PSG responded three minutes later off a corner kick from Pablo Sarabia.

The Spain international whipped in a ball into the box and Layvin Kurzawa, who was at fault for Lyon’s opener, got his head on the pass and flicked it towards the back post where Mbappé was surprisingly left alone for the simple tap-in.
Kylian Mbappe has either scored or assisted in each of his last six games for PSG across all competitions:

Mbappé is coming off a brilliant match against Dijon FCO last Saturday where he scored two goals and recorded an assist. Hopefully, the Frenchman can continue this run of form into next week for the UEFA Champions League fixture against Borussia Dortmund.
