If Paris Saint-Germain players can’t get motivated to put on an amazing UEFA Champions League performance after this kind of welcome, well, I’m not sure they ever will.

PSG can advance to the quarter-finals of the Champions League with a simple 1-0 victory (lost the first leg 2-1) but they’ll have to compete inside a nearly empty Parc des Princes as fans are banned from entering the stadium due to concerns over the coronavirus.
The Ultras will follow the action on the pitch from outside the Parc where their noise will likely be heard by the players. The atmosphere will be unique, to say the least.
The players will have it all to do against Dortmund. Marco Verratti and Thomas Meunier are suspended, Thiago Silva was left out of the squad as he just came back from a thigh injury, and Kylian Mbappé’s recent illness will likely keep him out of the starting lineup.
If there’s any hope to cling to, it’s that the players that are on the pitch will rally for the supporters out on the streets and put in the best performance of the season.
