Following Paris Saint-Germain’s 2-0 win over Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday night to advance to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League, the players didn’t waste any time heading to celebrate with the supporters who were outside the Parc des Prince.
Thilo Kehrer’s performance Wednesday night might go under the radar for some, but the Germany international had the task of trying to limit the Jadon Sancho’s impact on the match, which he passed with flying colors.
Thilo Kehrer MOTM for me! Impeccable display.

After the win, Kehrer spoke with RMC Sport (via Culture PSG) to give his reaction to the squad celebrating with the supporters after the final whistle and overcoming their Champions League demons to reach the quarter-finals for the first time since 2016.
“Yes, we always say that with our supporters, it’s something special and what they did today before the match, but also what they still do, it’s incredible,” Kehrer said.
Videos shared on social media showed the players standing on the balcony of the Parc des Princes and celebrating with the supporters on the street below. It was a surreal experience as flares and fireworks lit up the night sky.

Despite this being a significant win for the club, Kehrer isn’t satisfied and understands that this squad has the potential to go far in this tournament. The 23-year-old wants to celebrate the moment but understands that this is only the beginning.
“It’s not the end, even if we celebrated and everything. This is the start for us,” said Kehrer.
