PSG Join Barcelona and Leipzig in Race for West Ham’s 16-Year-Old Prodigy

Paris Saint-Germain has some of the biggest names in world football on their roster but they also like to keep the cupboard full with talented youngsters.

One player PSG has set their target on is 16-year-old Benicio Baker-Boaitey who currently plays for West Ham United’s Under-18 squad.

According to the Daily Mail, Baker-Boaitey prefers to play as a winger or behind a striker and he’s quickly earning the reputation as one of England’s most promising prospects.

Baker-Boaitey joined the Hammers from Queens Park Rangers and broke into their Under-18 side last season just after turning 15-years-old.

PSG aren’t alone in their admiration of the youngster. FC Barcelona and RB Leipzig are also said to be interested in bringing Baker-Boaitey into their youth academies.

All three teams have a reputation for identifying up-and-coming talent, so that would lead one to believe that the hype is real when it comes to West Ham’s Baker-Boaitey and PSG would be wise to pursue bringing him to the French capital.
