Look, I don’t want to be writing about Neymar Jr.’s hair or fashion choices but traffic to PSGTalk.com tells me that this is something you all are really interested in and well, there’s no actual football to talk about right now, so here we go!
On Thursday, the official Paris Saint-Germain Twitter account posted a nine-second video of Neymar clapping to thank healthcare workers in France who are on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic.

However, I couldn’t help but focus in on Neymar’s new handlebar mustache that he’s apparently been working on since leaving Paris last week and traveling to Brazil to wait out the pandemic with his friends and family.
I immediately went to Neymar’s Instagram to confirm the validity of his biker-stache and it all checked out:
The last time we saw Neymar on the pitch for PSG, he was rocking a beard against Borussia Dortmund but that is now gone in favor of this new lip warmer.
Neymar is known for constantly experimenting with his hair but his facial hair doesn’t always get as much attention. While I love the grown-man beard and the fearless play that went along with it, I can certainly appreciate this quirky look.
Whether Neymar keeps the ‘stache until the season resumes is unknown. It’s possible he lost a bet or is a bit early for Movember. Whatever the situation is, it’s great that he is relaxed in Brazil and using his voice to amplify the hard work being done by healthcare professionals during this difficult time.
