While chaos swirls around the Parc des Princes, Paris Saint-Germain players are busy training for the most important match of the season, a meeting with Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night.
The result will determine which team advances to the quarter-finals of the tournament and considering PSG has crashed out in the Round of 16 for the last three seasons, the pressure is on the club’s superstars to deliver a memorable performance.
With Kylian Mbappé ill and potentially not at 100 percent, it will be up to Neymar Jr. to step up in what will be the first time he has played for PSG in the second leg of a Champions League knockout stage match since joining the club in 2017.
After training on Tuesday, Neymar shared a post on his Instagram Story with a message to PSG supporters:
Neymar scored PSG’s only goal against Dortmund in the first meeting between the two sides last month but he will need a legendary performance to get PSG over the Round of 16 roadblock.
