Neymar Jr. was suspended for Paris Saint-Germain’s match against Dijon FCO last Saturday but he did make an appearance in the stands wearing a very dapper outfit.
Like many, when the camera panned over to Neymar watching his teammates, I immediately focused on his awesome hat and not so much who was sitting right next to him. Perhaps I should have.
After some quick research, I discovered that to Neymar’s left is a brand strategist named Erik Marçal, who Neymar tagged in an Instagram post, and to his right, a German journalist, television host, and producer named Janin Ullmann.

Few knew it at the time but according to Brazil’s Esporte FERA, Ullmann, 38, is rumored to be in a relationship with Neymar and photos posted on social media by both parties seem to back up that claim.

On February 14, Valentine’s Day, Ullman posted a selfie with Neymar on Instagram with the caption, “he asked me and I said yes ❤️😍💍 happy valentines [sic] day @neymarjr.”
Neymar commented on her post with, “Yes 😂🤣❤️” and Ullman responded “@neymarjr 😂😘.”
That is some serious flirting going on right there. Notice the “love” location tag as well on the post:
To further the speculation that things may be serious between the two, on Monday, Neymar posted a photo on Instagram of him with his hand covering his face and this caption:
“Thinking about the crush that’s far away. Tag your crush in the comments.”
Tabloids in Germany speculate that Neymar and Ullmann met at the recent launch of his collection in Germany with the fashion brand Replay. She moderated the event and shared a photo on Instagram of the two on stage:
There’s been no official word from either camp that the two are in a relationship and it’s possible that they’re just friends and get along. We’ll keep an eye on this one for now.
